This recording contains quite a few instances of metal, close by the microphone, clanks together or squeaks, creating a very eerie environment as the wind continues to blow in the distance. A description of the setting is given at the beginning of the recording; it is 8:30PM on the 3rd day of the Listen(n) Project Field Trip on March 11th. The gates to Dripping Spring Road have been locked so the team could not go up the road to record. There are freeways on both sides of the microphone so one can hear rumble from cars everywhere. Towards the end of the recording there are a number of vehicles that become audible and at one instance a car drives up very close to the site of recording, makes a three point turn and turns back down the road.

00:13:43.629 [freeway] [street] [distant] [car] [vehicle] [crunching] [gravel] [breeze] Cars passing by on the freeways become audible, yet they are very far in the distance and sound very similar to the breezes that are passing by as well. The nice difference between the two is that you can hear the texture of gravel crunching on the streets from the cars passing.
